Care providers and our Center of Excellence

Our care providers want more than a job. They want to make a difference in the lives of those in our care.

As a company, our job is to provide the in-home care providers with the direction and tools they need to fulfill their personal vocation.

For every applicant we interview we ask ourselves one simple question – would I trust this care provider to look after my own mother in her home? We only offer employment if the answer is ‘yes’.

To ensure that the people we select meet our high standards, we have a rigorous selection process. All of our senior care & adult day care providers must go through:

  • Reference checks
  • Background clearance
  • Personal interviews
  • Competency testing
  • Drug testing

Once a care provider meets our strict selection criteria, it’s just the beginning. Each care provider must complete a comprehensive training program and orientation process. These programs are designed to guide the care provider through our values and standards.

Ongoing monthly training is compulsory. Our team of Registered Nurses conduct regular supervisory visit. Rest assured….your loved one will receive the best care.

HomeBridge Care is committed to our care providers. We will ensure they obtain all of the support and training they need. Care providers undergo training on issues that help them deal with very specific situations, including:

  • Alzheimer’s, dementia and memory loss
  • Mental Health and Depression
  • Adequate nutrition
  • Incontinence care
  • Elder abuse and neglect
  • Emergency situations
  • Fall prevention
  • Infection control
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Fire safety
  • Importance of a plan of care
